Welcome to Scrap Heap Grand Slam Tennis 2012!
This competition tests your knowledge of both Men's and Women's tennis. Pick your team of 5 men and 5 women for each event and cheer them on as they decide your fantasy tennis fortunes! The 2012 season kicks off in January with the Australian Open. The schedule also includes the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open. This is a custom Scrap Heap league, being run through the pick forms on this website and its associated Yahoo Group. This competition counts towards the 2012 Scrap Heap Fantasy Sports Championship using points scale B with 100 points for the winner.

League Information
The league comprises four sections: The Australian Open, the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open.

Fields for each tournament will be posted in the few days before the tournament. Notification will be posted to the Yahoo Group once this has been completed for the upcoming event. Each tournament has its own section, click on the links in the top-left of this page.
Fantasy teams must be submitted by the start of the first game of each tournament. The deadline for each tournament will be posted to the Yahoo Group.

Standings and Tiebreakers
The winner of Scrap Heap Fantasy Grand Slam Tennis will be the team with the highest combined score for the four events in the calendar year, beginning with the Australian Open. If two teams are tied at the top following the US Open, the following tiebreak system will be used:
- Highest event score
- Highest overall Men's draw scores
- Highest number of Grand Slam winners - men & women
- Highest number of Grand Slam finalists - men & women
- Highest number of Grand Slam semi-finalists - men & women
- Highest score at Wimbledon
- Highest score at US Open
- Highest score at Australian Open
- Highest score at French Open
- Highest individual player score (man or woman) from any one of the four tournaments
- Random coin flip.
