In the event that a playoff game ends in a tie, the deadlock is broken using the following system:

1. Most team goals.
2. Most team assists.
3. Lowest team GAA.
4. Highest team SV.
5. Most team wins.
6. Most team powerplay points.
7. Most team shots on goal.
8. Most team penalty minutes.
9. Most team plus/minus.
10. Season head-to-head results.
11. Regular season record.

If a team does not meet the minimum games played requirement for goalies during the playoff matchup, they lose any tiebreakers involving goalie statistics.
